Our Village Staff

Long-standing, dedicated staff make Greenways Village unique

Cherie was appointed Manager of Greenways in 2022. She brings a wealth of experience to the role, with her brief to ensure a harmonious office team, a culture of service to the residents and sound financial management of the village.

Cherie was introduced to the property sector from a young age and, having deferred studying Law, completed a Certificate IV in real estate practice (Diploma of Property) in 2003. Her energy, enthusiasm, passion and transferable skills lead to retirement living management and she hasn’t looked back!

Her main emphasis is on communication, respect and developing long term relationships with village residents to ensure their needs are always met.

Cherie has lived on the Mornington Peninsula for 22+ years, has two adult children, two grandchildren, and she enjoys yoga, walking, reading and camping when time allows.

Historically, Greenways has benefited from long term commitments from its key management staff. There have only been six managers the over 40 year history of the village.

About Lesley Hemingway
Lee Monkhouse

Lee came to Greenways in 2010 as an administrative assistant but, given the small team at the village, has been happy to broaden her role.

Whilst there is a good deal of “job sharing” at Greenways Lee’s primary responsibility is to ensure that the accounting for residents maintenance charges are kept in order. She also enjoys being at the “front desk” , in regular contact with residents, with a focus on social activities and resident engagement.

Lee has Certificate 3 in Financial Services (Accounts/Bookkeeping) and Certificate 3 in Aged Care (Diversional Therapy).

Lee has four adult children and four grandchildren, she enjoys reading, gardening and craft and brings a wealth of knowledge and warmth to the Village.

In a fantastic endorsement of just how great village life is at Greenways, in 2021 Lee chose Greenways as her new home.
