A private company, Greenways Village Pty Ltd, has owned the village since 1976. The village is served by professional staff supported by an experienced Board committed to providing the highest possible standards of accommodation and services.
The Managers
Greenways Village Management Pty Ltd
Greenways Village Management Pty Ltd is the manager of the village; it collects the weekly maintenance charges paid by residents, employs the village staff and manages the day to day operations of the village.
The Residents
Residents can contribute to the management of the village through the Greenways Residents' Association, which elects its own Committee annually. The Committee meets on a regular basis and has a close working relationship with the Village Manager and Directors.
The Structure
The form of tenure at Greenways is a life time lease. This single document sets out all of the rights and obligations of all parties. The Retirement Villages Act ensures security of tenure and other statutory safeguards for residents in all retirement villages in Victoria and Greenways is no exception.
