Greenways Community Centre
The Greenways Community Centre is the friendly hub of village life. Located in the heart of the village, residents and their guests can enjoy a meal at the village dining room or relax in the lounge areas, play cards in the games room, get lost in a book in the library, or take advantage of the computer hub to check up on the news. Treat yourself to a coffee/tea and a biscuit from the resident kitchen facilities.
For essentials, enjoy the benefits of the well-stocked village kiosk. The adjacent pavilion room is fitted with home cinema and a state-of-the-art sound system for village movies and events such as the Grand Final and Melbourne Cup. Consulting rooms allow for a local podiatrist, beautician and hairdresser, to visit on a regular basis, with a doctor attending weekly. For a small charge, there is a guest suite that can be used by visiting friends and family.
Recreational Facilities
Greenways Village has a well equipped and easily accessible bowling green. From beginners to experts, everyone is welcome to play. The “Greenways Bowls Club” has dedicated club house facilities overlooking the green, a great vantage point to watch the game. For those residents who do not want to brave the elements, Greenways hosts regular indoor bowling sessions in the comfort of the pavilion.
It is important to stay active, with many residents using the Greenways fitness centre or joining an exercise class. The village grounds provide fantastic opportunities for exercise and outdoor activities such as walking groups.
