Greenways is one of the longest established private sector retirement villages in Victoria and celebrates its 30th anniversary in October 2006. The continuity of key personnel at both management and board level is a unique facet of Greenways.
Established in 1976, the village was developed in three main stages over a number of years as additional land became available. With 113 accommodation units nearly 400 residents have enjoyed the Greenways lifestyle since those early days and interest in the village continues to grow.
One of the first villages to be accredited by the Retirement Village Association of Australia the village meets the prescribed standards in respect of accommodation, village facilities, support services and, most importantly, management practices.
Greenways enjoys a very strong sense of community and pride in its long history and the lifestyle that has been created and sustained at the village. The residents, manager and owner are committed to maintaining Greenways' pre-eminence amongst Melbourne retirement villages and continuing to serve the Bayside commmunity. |
